About Preschool

Blooming Buds Day care, pre-school and Activity Club is for Parents and their precious Children!
  • We aim to welcome and value every child in our care, and their family, so that each child can learn, develop and achieve to their full potential.
  • We believe children learn best through play and playful experiences which are self-chosen. We provide a safe, secure, stimulating and caring environment for children to develop and prepare for their transition from playgroup to primary school.
  • We recognize parents as the first and most important carers and educators of their children and by working together we aim to provide the best possible early years’ experiences. We welcome and encourage parents to take an active interest in their child’s activities and learning development during their time at our Playgroup and Nursery. If any parents have special talents we are sure we could make good use of them!
  • We encourage children to respect themselves, each other and property. We set realistic expectations of behavior through encouraging and praising good behavior.

Learning :

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
  • Physical Development
  • The Arts
  • Language Development
  • Early Mathematical Experiences
  • The World Around Us
Record of the Child :

Systematic observation and record keeping informs effective planning. It helps us to learn more about the individual needs, abilities and interests of a child. It can help identify gaps in provision, inappropriate resources or layout of equipment or materials. It helps staff provide for challenge and progression and help us establish a broad and balanced curriculum. All records and observations on children are regularly done and the parents are informed time to time.
